14 Day Elegant Europe

Day 1 - Arrival at London -

Today, check in (transfers included), at your hotel.  In the early afternoon, you will depart for a half-day sightseeing tour of London.  On our tour we see the main sights: Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and the Tower Bridge. Later we visit the Swaminarayan Temple – intricately designed and made of white Italian Carrera marble. Later return to your hotel. (L,D)
Day 2 - London - - Germany

This morning cross the English Channel by ferry. From Calais, start your journey to Germany (driving time will be approximately 8 hours). During your journey, be entertained by all time favourite movies and a variety of music. (B,L,D)
Day 3 - Heidelberg - Black Forest - Rhine Falls

Travel to Heidelberg; surrounded by mountains and forests. Here, have an opportunity to photograph the famous Heidelberg Castle perched on the hills above. Travel to the Black Forest region in South Germany. On arrival, enjoy a demonstration on how the cuckoo clocks are made and have an opportunity to purchase them along with other souvenirs. Later, travel to Switzerland and witness the largest waterfalls in Europe, the Rhine Falls. (B,L,D)

 

Day 4 - Mt. Titlis - Luzern

Ascend 10.000ft to the summit of Mt. Titlis. Take the world’s first revolving cable car, the Titlis Rotair. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Swiss landscapes. At Mt. Titlis have free time to play in the snow, visit the ice caves or take a unique professional photo in traditional Swiss outfits. Depart for Luzern to view the Lion Monument and the oldest wooden bridge in the world, the Chapel Bridge, enjoy free time to explore the town. (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Mt. Jungfrau - Interlaken

Witness the stunning scenery of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the deepest U-shaped valley in the world with either sides rising sheer 1000 meters. On arrival board a cogwheel train to the top of Mt. Jungfrau at 3454 meters above sea level. At the top, have free time to explore the Ice Palace to view life-sized ice sculptures, visit the Sphinx observation tower for spectacular views of the Aletsch glacier and surrounding peaks. Later, drive to the oldest tourist resort in Switzerland, Interlaken. Enjoy shopping and breathtaking scenery. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - - Vaduz - Swarovski - Innsbruck

Depart for Liechtenstein, the smallest country in Europe. Stop in the capital city, Vaduz. Later proceed to Austria to see the famous Swarovski Crystal Museum, before driving to Innsbruck, offering a combination of culture, history and nature. On arrival, take an orientation tour, covering the Golden roof, (a symbol of the city) and the Triumphal Arch, before checking in to your hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 7 - Innsbruck - Venice

Depart for Venice; the most romantic city in Italy with its distinctive architecture and famous gondola rides. Begin with a boat ride to St Mark’s Square, one of the most elegant squares in the world. See the famous Bridge of Sighs and the Basilica di San Marco. Visit the Murano Glass Showroom and purchase some beautiful Murano glass items. Finally enjoy a romantic gondola ride while enjoying the ambience of Venice. (B,L,D)

Day 8 - Florence - Rome

Depart for Florence. On arrival, be greeted by your local professional guide. The tour of this renaissance city starts by viewing the impressive architecture of some of the finest historic buildings in Italy, such as the Basilica of Santa Croce, the final resting place of Michelangelo, statue of David, famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge on the Arno River and The Piazelle Michelangelo, for the most outstanding views of Florence. After depart for Rome.  (B,L,D)

Day 9 - Rome  Vatican City

On arrival in Rome, be greeted by a local professional guide. The tour starts by visiting the Colosseum, symbol of Rome and once home to the gladiators. View the Roman Forums, where the ancient civilisation developed. Visit the Vatican City, home to the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church to see the St. Peters Basilica. View Trevi Fountains, arguably the most beautiful fountain in all of Rome. (As coaches are restricted to enter many parts of Rome, much of the tour is done on foot). (B,L,D)

Day 10 - Pisa - Geneva

Today start the journey to Pisa. On arrival, marvel at The Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral Square) which is dominated by four great religious structures: the Duomo, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Baptistry and the Camposanto. Enjoy some free time here to buy souvenirs for friends and family. In the afternoon, continue the journey to Geneva, here be taken on a short city tour to see the United Nations Building, The Flower Clock and the symbol of Geneva, the Jet d’eau (weather permitting).  Day 11 - Geneva - Paris

Depart for Paris (approximate drive time will be 6 hours). On arrival enjoy a cruise along the River Seine. The cruise is perfectly designed to discover and admire the rich architecture such as the Eiffel Tower, Musee d’Orsay, Notre Dame Cathedral and more. Enjoy the famous illuminations of Paris during your night tour. This panoramic tour will cover the spectacular ‘Eiffel Tower,’ the ‘Champs Elysees’, the beautiful ‘Arc de Triomphe’, ‘Place de la Concorde’ and many other historic buildings. (B,L,D)

Day 12 - City Tour with Versailles Gardens

The tour will start with a visit to the renowned Versailles Gardens, a fine example of 17th century French landscaping covering an area of more then 800 hectares. Use this free time to take mesmerising photos, souvenir shopping or simply relax on the Royal Lawns. Then visit the famous ‘Louvre Museum’ and have the opportunity to view the renowned painting of ‘Mona Lisa’ (entrance not included). Later, visit Fragonards perfume museum to purchase some unique fragrances, soaps, or candles. During the orientation tour, cover the exclusive ‘Champs Elysளூes’, ‘Arc de Triomphe’, ‘Place de la Concorde’ and ‘Opera Garnier’. (B,L,D)

Day 13 - Paris - Calais - Folkestone - London

Today embark on a journey to the top floor of the Eiffel Tower for a breathtaking view of Paris. After enjoy the famous Avenue des Champs-னlysளூes, the most prestigious avenue in Paris (duration is time permitting). In the early afternoon, drive back to Calais for the channel crossing, then bid farewell to the group before arriving at the drop off point. (B,L,D)

 Day 14 - Fly back Home

Today you will check-out and depart to London Heathrow Airport where you will depart home.  Thank you for choosing and enjoying your 14 Day Elegant Europe Package. (B)

Payments:

At the time of booking (3 Months prior to departure date): Payment as stated on agreement is Per Person as Non Refundable Deposit.  (At this point the airline ticket will be purchased; hotel and other ground transportations along with attractions will be booked.  These are all non refundable events so no refund could be issued to you).

Cancelation Fee:
59 - 30 days prior to the departure date: You get 50% of balance payment
29 -15 days prior to the departure date: You get 25% of balance payment
14 days or less prior to the departure date OR ‘NO SHOW’ for the tour:  You get NO REFUND.

Refund:

There is no refund payable for any unutilized services (e.g., meals, entrance fees, optional tours, hotel and sightseeing) on the tour.
